The way we see it, there are no shortcuts to wealth.
We begin by building a relationship with our clients that brings together all of the Firestone team members to analyze the client’s needs. Together we then tailor a plan that balances your goals with your concerns. As market conditions and your personal circumstances fluctuate over time, our team makes the proper adjustments to keep you moving toward long-term financial success.
Each of our client accounts is individually managed.
Because clients have differing goals, time horizons, and risk tolerances, the portfolios we manage will have differing investment policies and asset mixes. We have no single "portfolio".
Our planning strategy focuses on one key issue: how to plan with a reasonable degree of certainty that you, as our client, can continue to live the life you want and have the resources you need when you need them, for as long as you require.
We first evaluate your goals and what you want to accomplish with your wealth. Then we analyze your investment time horizon and your willingness to assume some risk. We consult with you during all stages of the investment process and make sure you understand the decisions being made.
Your CPA and other financial professionals, pension consultants and estate and tax attorneys, will be integrated as a part of our financial team.
Rest assured that we will frequently review your investments. Full reports will be sent to you quarterly, and interim reports are prepared whenever needed and on request. Consultations regarding your investments and all related financial questions are available at any time. These services are included as a part of our fee.
To ensure accountability, clients' assets are maintained at Charles Schwab & Co. Clients receive account statements directly from Schwab in addition to the quarterly performance reviews and analysis we send. This provides the added security of knowing that your assets are held at a premier institutional brokerage.
Our expertise includes, but is not limited to:
- Multi-generational financial planning
- Retirement planning and analysis
- Cash flow sustainability
- Asset protection strategies
- Estate tax structuring for estate tax minimization
- Tax-sheltering strategies
- Asset building programs
- Retirement distribution optimization
- Investment research and asset allocation
- Performance reporting
How are we compensated
Firestone Capital Management is a fee-only firm. We are compensated solely by the fees you pay for portfolio management and our ongoing advice. Because we have no financial ties to insurance companies, banks, brokerages, or proprietary financial products, we are completely independent and objective in our recommendations. We represent you and your interests, only.
At the end of the day, investment firms are defined by both the beliefs they hold and the way they engage their clients.
We believe that a client’s success is the only true measure of our firm’s performance.
Our responsibility is to treat every client’s assets as if they were our own.
Our team-oriented approach means our clients will always benefit from Firestone’s sound experience, qualifications and creative vision. Where other firms provide a single point of contact, we believe clients deserve unlimited, informed access. At any time, their needs may change and our phone could ring. And when that happens, every member of our team strives to be as well-informed about their specific financial situation and personal investment goals as possible.
We strive to be good neighbors, as invested in our community as our clients are.
These are the core values that have defined Firestone since the firm’s inception in 1991. We are constantly driven to provide each client with the best insights, strategies, and plans to help them reach their long-term financial goals.
